<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid collecting device which makes it possible that a larger amount of waste liquids are efficiently absorbed into a waste liquid absorbing material, and to provide a liquid jetting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The waste liquid collecting device includes an ink absorbing material 30 that absorbs a discharged waste ink, and a driving motor 36 that rotates the ink absorbing material 30 centering around an axial line S1.
