<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display unit capable of providing a user with an image captured from a view point different from an angle where a user's head is actually oriented. <P>SOLUTION: An image display unit includes: a horizontal direction image acquisition part 2 for acquiring an image captured from at least one axis as an imaging axis among a plurality of axes radially extending from a user to surroundings from viewed above; a head rotation angle detection part 4 for detecting a head rotation angle that is a rotation angle around a vertical axis of a user's head to a preset reference direction; an image generation part 10 for generating an image captured from an imaging axis oriented to a rotation angle different from the head rotation angle detected by the head rotation angle detection part 4, using the image acquired by the horizontal direction image acquisition part 2; and an image display part 12 for displaying the image generated by the image generation part 10 within a display area preset to a direction of the user's head. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
