<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring the impression of a photographed image which was photographed in a dark environment closer to the impression or atmosphere of a photographic field including the subject seen with eyes at photographed time by incorporating changes in relative resolutions of images in each color corresponding to the pupil diameter into the image processing performed. <P>SOLUTION: An image input unit 102 acquires photographed image data, with exposure information at photographed time attached thereto, which can be separated into red, green, and blue images. An aberration correction processing unit 107 processes the photographed image data on the basis of the exposure information at photographed time so that the darker a photographed region is, relatively lower will be the resolution of the blue image than that of the green image. A rate at which the resolution of the blue image is made to be relatively lower than that of the green image as the darkness of the photographed region increases is based on the relationship between a chromatic aberration in the crystal lens of a person between green and blue rays of light and the darkness of the photographed region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
