<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video monitoring system for, when entry processing is not normally executable due to failure of an automatic ticket examination machine at a station where a resident clerk is unattended, specifying a person who has illegally gotten on board. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring center 2 which has received abnormality of an automatic ticket examination machine 13 at a resident clerk unattended station 10 includes: gate opening command means 4A for opening the gate of the automatic ticket examination machine 13; a face image storage command means 4B for storing face images of persons who pass through the automatic ticket examination machine 13 to the resident clerk unattended station 10 and an automatic ticket examination machine 33 to a same route station 30; and face recognition and storage means 4C, 4D and 5 for acquiring the face images stored at the resident clerk unattended station 10 and the same route station 30 after the end of business on the day when the abnormality of the automatic ticket examination machine 13 has occurred, for comparing the face images at the resident clerk unattended station 10 with the face images at the same route station 30, and for storing the face image existing at only one of the resident clerk unattended station 10 and the same route station 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
