RETAINER FOR ROLLER BEARING, MOLDING DIE OF THE SAME AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lubrication by lowering the height of an inner diameter-side roller stopping projection without losing a mechanism for preventing deviation of a roller in an inner diameter direction, in a pocket of a retainer for a roller bearing.

SOLUTION: An outer diameter-side roller stopping projection 17 and an inner diameter-side roller stopping projection 17a are provided on each inner wall surface 16 of the pocket 14. A wedge angle θ is formed between the inner wall surfaces 16 so that the distance between them is made smaller toward the inner diameter side. The height b of the inner diameter-side roller stopping projection 17a is set to be lower than the height (a) of the outer diameter-side roller stopping projection 17 by inclination of the inner wall surfaces 16.
