<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition which is excellent in ESCR and tear strength and is also excellent in heat sealability, and to provide a tubular container made of the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition comprises: a linear low-density polyethylene (A) which is a copolymer consisting of ethylene obtained by a polymerization method using a metallocene compound as a catalyst, and a 3-20C α-olefin, and has a density of 870-900 Kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>and an MFR of 1-100 g/10 min; and an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (B) which has an MFR of not less than 1 g/10 min and less than 10 g/10 min, and a melt tension of 50 mN or more at a temperature of 160°C, and has a strain-hardening property and a density of 940 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or more and 955 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or less. In the polyethylene resin composition, the mixture ratio of the components (A) and (B) is that (A): 40-90 wt.%, and (B): 10-60 wt.%. The polyethylene resin composition has a density of 890-930 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>, an MFR of 1-50 g/10 min, and a melt tension of 10 mN or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
