<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wind even a plurality of wires in an array while putting a payoff end of a payoff tool which pays off the plurality of wires close to an outer periphery of a core. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-wire winding method includes: wiring the outer periphery of a core with a plurality of wires 12-14 which are paid off having their center axes arranged at predetermined intervals L in an axial direction of the core; and winding the outer periphery of the core with a plurality of wires, newly paid off each time the plurality of wires are wound around the core once, in an array while moving the wire material by a predetermined quantity T in the axial direction of the core. Representing a gap between the centers of wire materials adjoining each other after being arrayed in the axial direction of the core as a desired pitch P, the quantity obtained by multiplying the number of the plurality of wires by the desired pitch P is a predetermined quantity T, and an interval obtained by adding the desired pitch P to a natural multiple of the predetermined quantity T is a predetermined interval L.
