<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road surface condition notification device which offers appropriate information about the condition of road surface components such as a raised manhole cover to a vehicle driver. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a road surface condition notification device which comprises: road surface component detecting means 23 which detects a road surface component forming a part of a road surface on which a vehicle runs such as a manhole cover detachable from the road surface; notification means 31, 32 which offer notification information to a vehicle driver; control means 1 which controls the notification means 31, 32.
