PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem of a conventional coating method that an organic light-emitting element of an organic multilayer structure including four or more layers cannot be produced because an underlying layer is dissolved by the solvent of an organic layer lying thereon, thereby allowing the adoption of a multilayer structure for improvement of the light emission efficiency of an organic light-emitting element.
SOLUTION: The organic light-emitting element comprises: a lower electrode; an upper electrode; and a light-emitting layer and a mixture layer which are located between the lower electrode and the upper electrode. The mixture layer includes a first host, a first dopant, and a charge-transporting material. The light-emitting layer includes a second host. The charge-transporting material includes a first functional group. In the mixture layer, a region on the side where the light-emitting layer is absent is higher, in the concentration of the charge-transporting material, than a region on the side where the light-emitting layer is present.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
