<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic generation device which, although in a height reducible and simple configuration, can generate sounds with a sufficiently large volume. <P>SOLUTION: An acoustic generation device 100 comprises: electrode parts (4, 5) in which electrodes are disposed facing each other; two kinds of electrostatic property media (61, 62), disposed between the electrodes, which move toward the electrodes when an electric field is applied, and which are mutually different in the polarity of electrostatic charge and the same in specific gravity; and vibration parts (2, 3) which are disposed facing each other so as to contact the electrode on either side. The two kinds of electrostatic property media collide with the electrodes or the vibration parts when an electric field is applied.
