<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a reader for reading a read object and processing the read object according to a read result. <P>SOLUTION: A reader 1 conveys a read object, reads information recorded on the conveyed read object by read means provided in a conveyance path of the read object.
