<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which in the case where a tentative aperture value to be narrowed before a release operation is determined according to an appropriate aperture value, if a luminance of a subject is significantly varied, for example, when a scene is changed from an indoor place to an outdoor place, a difference between the tentative aperture value determined by the appropriate aperture value based on a photometric value before the variation and an appropriate aperture value after the variation is enlarged, consequently, a drive amount of an aperture stop mechanism is enlarged and it takes a time to drive an opening part of the aperture stop to a targetted appropriate aperture value. <P>SOLUTION: An aperture stop control device includes: a determination part for determining a tentative aperture value for narrowing the aperture stop on the basis of an open aperture value and a minimum aperture value of the aperture stop of an imaging lens; and a transmission part for transmitting, prior to an imaging operation, a drive signal for narrowing the aperture stop according to the tentative aperture value determined by the determination part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
