<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission which prevents any foreign substance such as water other than lubricating oil from being diffused inside a case when the foreign substance enters the case. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission includes a case 1 which internally has a transmission mechanism, in which lubricating oil used for the transmission mechanism is stored, and with which a breather hole 11 communicating the inside and the outside is formed in an upper part.
