<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, capable of preventing deterioration of image quality due to variations in the amount of toner discharged from each hole or in the accuracy of adhering position thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a casing; an agent support roller which supports an image forming agent; a sheet-like hole forming member which has a plurality of holes and is disposed to face the agent support roller with a space therefrom; a plurality of flying electrodes provided on the hole forming member in conformation to the plurality of holes respectively; and a belt member rotatably laid on the side opposite to the side where the agent support roller is located so as to face the hole forming member with a predetermined space. The apparatus further includes a holding member which holds the hole forming member so that at least the area having the plurality of holes of the hole forming member is curved at a curvature substantially equal to the curvature of the agent support roller; and a contact member which brings a curved surface curved at the curvature substantially equal to the curvature of the agent support roller into contact with the belt member located at a position opposed to the area having the plurality of holes of the hole forming member to curve the belt member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
