DESALINATION APPARATUS USING REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seawater desalination apparatus capable of obtaining fresh water stably at low operation cost by reducing the clogging of the reverse osmosis membrane by fully removing high-molecular organic matter in the pre-treatment, and also by reducing boron in the pre-treatment.

SOLUTION: The seawater desalination apparatus includes: a precipitation tank 11 which is arranged at a pre-stage to a reverse osmosis membrane device 17 and into which an alkali agent is injected from a chemical injection device 12 after taking in seawater; a filtration device 14 which is connected to the precipitation tank 11 via a filtration pump 13; an input means 22 which inputs a target pH value for the precipitation tank 11 and an upper-limit value of the filtration pressure of the filtration device 14; and a control means 19 which controls the chemical injection device 12 and the filtration pump 13 so that they do not exceed the target pH value and the upper-limit value of the filtration pressure which are input by the input means 22.
