<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formic acid manufacturing apparatus capable of producing formic acid under mild reaction conditions and by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: The formic acid manufacturing apparatus includes a sealable formic acid synthesis reaction section which holds an ionic fluid and into which hydrogen and carbon dioxide are introduced from outside to synthesize formic acid from the hydrogen and the carbon dioxide in the presence of the ionic fluid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
