<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide elevator system which can easily check a slippage between a main rope and a sheave, and can detect shortage of traction force. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator system includes: a motor pulse generator directly connected to the drive shaft of a hoist for generating a pulse string representing a turning amount of the sheave; a governor pulse generator directly connected to the shaft of a governor for generating a pulse string representing a movement of the main rope; and an arithmetic unit which inputs the pulse string upon acceleration and deceleration from the motor pulse generator and the governor pulse generator, compares a difference between the turning amount of the sheave and the movement of the main rope with a reference value held previously, and detects abrasion between the main rope and the sheave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
