<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation hardening device capable of efficiently hardening an ultraviolet hardening agent by shortening a distance between a light source and the ultraviolet hardening agent. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation hardening device includes: a planar light source (a plurality of straight tube fluorescent discharge tubes 12) for emitting ultraviolet rays for hardening a seal agent 8 (ultraviolet hardening agent) interposed between a transparent conducting glass substrate 4 (first member) and a non-transparent glass plate 6 (second member); and a power source for lighting the planar light source. The transparent conducting glass substrate 4 is placed on the planar light source. Ultraviolet rays from the planar light source penetrate through the transparent conducting glass substrate 4 from the lower side and the seal agent 8 is irradiated with the ultraviolet rays. This configuration can shorten a distance between the planar light source and the seal agent 8, so as to effectively harden the seal agent 8 for a short time and reduce a storage volume for storing an irradiated body of the irradiation hardening device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
