<p>A stamping press (1) includes a stationary base beam (2) with a table (3) on which a die (4) is supported. The press further includes a top beam (5) reciprocated by two hydraulic piston/cylinder units (6). A punch unit (7) consists of several parts (8) retained by a clamp (9) in the top beam (5). The clamps enable e.g. quick length adjustment of the punch unit, while the clamp mechanism ensures correct alignment of contact zones (10).</p> |
