<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of improving throughput irrespective of a rewrite card posture at the time of intake. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes a storage unit for storing a QR code (R) read by a QR code (R) reader, a QR code (R) position retrieving unit for retrieving a rewrite card posture from a cut-out symbol of the QR code (R) thus stored, a decoding unit for analyzing data of the QR code (R) stored in the storage unit corresponding to the position of the QR code (R) thus retrieved, a processing unit for performing calculation processing based on the data thus analyzed and newly input information and outputting new information after the calculation processing, an editing unit for performing editing to print the new information on the upper surface and the lower surface of the rewrite card in a direction corresponding to the posture, and a print control unit for allowing a first thermal head and a second thermal head to print the editing result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
