<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus which grasps a bubble amount in an ink flow path and can perform a suction recovery operation at an appropriate timing. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head which has a nozzle for ejecting an ink and a flow path formation member for forming the ink flow path, a suction means for sucking an ink from the recording head concerned, and a temperature detection means for detecting a temperature in the above recording head. The inkjet recording apparatus also includes a control means which controls the operations of the suction means based on a gas amount in the flow path formation member before filling the ink into the above ink flow path and an equilibrium gas amount in the flow path formation member after filling the ink into the above ink flow path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
