<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charging system 2 which may contribute to spread of battery vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: The system 2 comprises a server S respectively, mutually and communicably connected to a battery vehicle E having a battery mounted thereon and a plurality of power supply vehicles R each having a power source for charging the battery mounted thereon. The server S includes: reception means for receiving position information of the power supply vehicles R transmitted from the respective power supply vehicles R; record means for recording the received position information of the power supply vehicles R; selection means for selecting a power supply vehicle R to be dispatched by a request in order beginning with the shortest time for reaching the battery vehicle E, on the basis of position information of the battery vehicle E transmitted from the battery vehicle E incapable of travelling due to battery drain and the position information of the power supply vehicles R recorded in the record means; and transmission means for transmitting dispatch request information to the selected power supply vehicle R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
