IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and an image display method for suppressing an oppression of a DRAM band even when graphic processing is increased.

SOLUTION: The image display device for displaying an input image stored in an image storage part connected to a common bus after graphic processing includes: a graphic processing part having a first graphic processing function and a second graphic processing function, and for making the image storage part store either an image obtained by performing first graphic processing to the input image or an image obtained by successively performing second graphic processing as a processed image; a display processing part having a processing function which is equivalent to the second graphic processing function for outputting either the processed image or an image obtained by performing the second graphic processing to the processed image as a display image; and a switching control part for switching a processing part for executing the second graphic processing to either the graphic processing part or the display processing part on the basis of predetermined conditions.
