<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device, information reproduction method and information reproduction device, using a bidirectional communication interface device. <P>SOLUTION: The information reproduction device includes reception means, output means, detection means and control means. The reception means receives at least one of a video image or a voice input from source equipment through a bidirectional interface. The output means outputs the voice received by the reception means to external voice output equipment through the bidirectional interface. The detection means detects connection between the source equipment and the external voice output equipment through the bidirectional interface.
