<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device, a projection type display device and electronic equipment, in which generation of an unnecessary electric field in a periphery of an end of a pixel electrode can be prevented even when a data line or a first capacitor electrode to which a potential different from that of the pixel electrode is applied are disposed in a region overlapping between adjoining pixel electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: An electro-optic device 100 includes a data line 6a and a first capacitor electrode 5a in a region that overlaps, in a plan view, a second inter-pixel region 10h between pixel electrodes 9a. A relay electrode 7a having conduction with the pixel electrode 9a is disposed in a side closer to the pixel electrode 9a than the electrodes (the first capacitor electrode 5a and the data line 6a).
