<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance memory utilization efficiency in a control system where a master unit stores data in memories of a plurality of slave units. <P>SOLUTION: In the control system where four injectors IJ1-IJ4 are connected to an ECU (electronic control unit) via communication lines and the data to be stored is written by the ECU into a common region 30 of EEPROM in the injectors IJ1-IJ4, the ECU divides the common region 30 of each of the injectors IJ1-IJ4 into each one address region that can memorize one of the data to be stored (hereinafter, referred to as one address region) and arranges each one address region in the order that the address region stored in the same injector appears in every four injectors and assigns the each one address region as one address region from the head of a virtual memory region 31, to form the virtual memory region 31.
