<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method of a DC arc test for simulating a DC arc test performed by imitating thunder stroke to GW (ground wire). <P>SOLUTION: The simulation method for a DC arc test of OPGW1 simulates a DC arc test being a test by supplying arc current by a DC arc 11 for the OPGW1 both ends of which are fixed in the state that prescribed tension is given and imitating thunder stroke. All quantities of heat transfer to the OPGW1 by the arc 11 are operated on the basis of sum of a quantity of heat transfer by electronic transport and convection heat transfer, a time spent before a prescribed quantity of OPGW1 melts with respect to arc current on a prescribed condition is operated on the basis of all the quantities of heat transfer, and a melting property of the overhead ground wire expressed by a relation between the arc current and the time is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
