<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector which can accurately detect the existence of an object. <P>SOLUTION: A detector includes a distance-measuring reflection type photoelectric sensor 2 that irradiates light toward a detection area 14, and a limited reflection type photoelectric sensor 1. The limited reflection type photoelectric sensor 1 includes a light projecting part 8 whose light irradiation area is limited to a reflective object and which makes irradiation light pass through the detection area 14, and a light receiving part 9 which receives the light irradiated from the light projecting part 8 and reflected by the reflective object. Only when a distance to an object measured by the distance-measuring reflection type photoelectric sensor 2 is a prescribed value or less and the output of the light receiving part 9 of the limited reflection type photoelectric sensor 1 becomes a prescribed value or less, it is determined that an object 3 exists in the detection area 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
