<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more adequately control both the registration of paper information on a paper sheet for printing and printing even in the case that the paper information has not been registered yet. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus storing the attribute information of a recording medium for printing in a storage area analyzes print data before printing print data, acquires the attribute information of the recording medium used for printing the print data, determines whether or not attribute information coincident with the acquired attribute information is stored in the storage area before printing the print data, and registers the attribute information which is included in the acquired attribute information but not stored in the storage area in the storage area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
