<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which determines the type and state of food from a detected gas and performs switching to an optimum storage temperature zone, thereby enhancing a food storage property. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a plurality of storerooms inside a refrigerator body, a storeroom door for opening and closing this storeroom, and a gas sensor for detecting at least part of gas concentration of the plurality of storerooms. The gas sensor detects a gas concentration at least twice with a prescribed time interval, and detects an increase or decrease of the gas concentration by a difference between a detection value at a first time and a detection value at a second time so as to discriminate a gas resulting from food contained inside the storerooms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
