<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid erroneous setting with a manual work and also to reduce the setting man-hour of a network operator by automatically constructing an out-of-band control plane (C-plane) in a GMPLS (Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching) network. <P>SOLUTION: A communication network includes: multiple nodes 10-1 to 10-6 for exchanging data signals; a D-plane 30 where the nodes 10-1 to 10-6 are connected with multiple optical links and which performs the communication of at least the data signals; and a C-plane 20 where nodes 10-1 to 10-6 are connected with cables and which performs the communication of at least control signals. When the network is constructed, the respective nodes 10-1 to 10-6 perform identification information reception processing to receive identification information on the C-plane 20 from adjacent nodes on the D-plane 30 and tunnel setting processing to set communication tunnels for encapsulating and exchanging data via the cables with the adjacent nodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
