<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system for making a notification of emergency in a house by a light signal instead of sound from an intercom to the outside so as to be easily confirmed from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The intercom system includes a plurality of intercom master units 10 that are respectively installed in a plurality of houses, and intercoms 30 that are installed outside of the respective houses. The intercoms 30 include lamps 37.
