<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which efficiently radiates heat without accumulating heat in the device, and to provide a display device including the light emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: A backlight unit 1 includes: a frame member 13 having a plate like bottom part 131; multiple printed boards 12 disposed on the bottom part 131 at equal intervals; multiple LED chips 111a respectively aligned on the printed boards 12; and multiple reflection members 113 respectively provided around the LED chips 111a. Spaces, each of which is enclosed by inclined parts 1132 continuing into each other and the bottom part 131 of the frame member 13 in the adjacent reflection members 113, serve as first heat radiation spaces 41 for radiating heat generated from the LED chips 111a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
