<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which is capable of suppressing power consumption for starting an image forming apparatus when the image forming apparatus receives a double-sided image formation instruction in a low power consumption standby state. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming system S is constituted to include control means 200 in which, when first and second image forming apparatuses 100A, 100B receive a double-sided image formation instruction in low power consumption standby states, in a case when the number of transfer materials P to be output is less than a predetermined value, either the first image forming apparatus 100A or the second image forming apparatus 100B is started to execute the double-sided image formation, and in a case when the number of transfer materials P to be output is equal to or more than the predetermined value, both of the first and second image forming apparatuses 100A, 100B are started to execute the doubled-sided image formation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
