<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the load amount of unbalanced loads such as passengers inside a car without increasing the number of load detectors for detecting the load inside the car of an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: An elevator load detection device includes: a load detector 2 which is installed at the center part under a car floor 1 of the elevator and detects the load inside the car; a sheet-shaped switch 7 for which a plurality of switches are arranged on the entire car floor surface in order to detect passengers inside the car; a correction coefficient calculation means for fetching data of ON/OFF situations of the respective switches of the sheet-shaped switch 7, specifying the position of the passenger on the basis of the position information of the switch in an ON state, obtaining a center-of-gravity position of the load inside the car, and calculating a correction coefficient corresponding to the center-of-gravity position; and a car load calculation means for correcting and outputting the value of the load inside the car by multiplying the value of the load inside the car, which is detected by the load detector 2, by the correction coefficient that is calculated by the correction coefficient calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
