<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image whose anisotropy aberration is corrected simply and inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging optical system (10a) to collect light of a subject; an imaging element (10b) that receives light passing through the imaging optical system and allows for creation of a plurality of images related to a subject image; image surface position setting sections (10f, 204a) to set image surface positions of the plurality of images with respect to the image optical system; and an aberration correction section (24) that creates a corrected image whose aberration is corrected, on the basis of pixel values of the plurality of images. The plurality of images include: a first image in which an aberration in one direction is smaller than an aberration in the other direction in at least a part of the first image; and a second image in which the aberration in the other direction is smaller than the aberration in the one direction in at least a part of the second image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
