<p>A locking mechanism has a two-part housing between a saddle tube and a pedal shaft housing. The lock housing (1) is integrated in the saddle tube (10) of the bicycle frame, and includes stabilising profiles (2a,2b). Between the stabilising profiles fits a locking plate (3) with a fixture lid. The lock housing and locking plate have front recesses for a cylinder (6) to which a lifting mechanism is fitted which ultimately blocks or unblocks the pedal shaft (9). A torsion spring (5) keeps the locking mechanism in the required position. The torsion spring keeps the lifting mechanism in zero position when the lock is in the free position.</p> |
