CAPACITOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable capacitor for preventing immersion of plating liquid.

SOLUTION: The capacitor 1 includes: a laminate 2 which includes a plurality of laminated dielectric layers 5 and a plurality of internal electrodes 3 formed along a boundary surface between the dielectric layers 5 and in which respective ends of the internal electrodes 3 are exposed to prescribed end faces; and external electrodes 4 installed in the prescribed end faces 2e and 2f so that the internal electrodes 3 exposed to the prescribed end faces 2e and 2f are mutually connected. Gaps 6 opened to the prescribed end faces 2e and 2f are formed between the internal electrodes 3 and the dielectric layers 5. Glasses 7 are installed in the gaps 6.
