<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which in resetting a jamming document, grasps a change in the orientation of an image in read data to be stored, from an image obtained before the interruption of reading. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine determines whether a post-restart image obtained after the restart of reading matches a pre-interruption image obtained before the interruption.
