<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of surely operating a valve stop mechanism at the earliest timing by a simple structure according to the rotation speed of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: In the engine control device, a trigger FC detection section detects "trigger FC-on", and controls status transition from the detected situation of the "trigger FC-on" and a crank angle shifted by the rotation of a crankshaft, thereby determining whether or not the timing of current-carrying instructions to the valve stop mechanism can be accelerated at a designated crank angle cycle unit from the rotation of the engine. When determining that it can be accelerated, the timing of current-carrying instructions can be accelerated by changing target timing that is timing for making the valve stop mechanism complete prescribed conjunctive motions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
