<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile accelerator pedal, which prevents the sudden start even if a driver treads the accelerator pedal by mistaking the accelerator pedal for a brake pedal. <P>SOLUTION: A cylinder container, which constitutes an outer container section, is dually partitioned by a vertical partition wall to be provided with a cylinder chamber 1 and a cylinder chamber 2, and it is provided with a directional valve at the center of the section, a little lower than the midsection, of the wall face, which is a valve that controls the outflow from the cylinder chamber 1 to the cylinder chamber 2 and allows only the outflow from the cylinder chamber 2 to the cylinder chamber 1, and is provided with a fluid small passage under it thus controlling the sudden flow of fluid. In the fluid charged in the cylinder, the liquid level in the cylinder chamber 1 carries a piston and leads to the accelerator pedal via a movement transmission rod extended from the piston.
