<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of recognizing positions of a plurality of pseudo buttons incorporated in a touch pad by tactile sensation. <P>SOLUTION: At a flat part 101 of a touch pad 100, pseudo button areas 105-113 for emulating a mouse button in cooperation with a mechanical switch 125 are defined. The pseudo button areas 105-109 are used in a set with a pointing stick, and the pseudo button areas 111 and 113 are used in a set with the touch pad. In an area closest to a keyboard of the touch pad, an inclination part 103 is provided. On the inclination part 103, projections 151 which enable recognition of finger positions by the tactile sensation are formed at a position corresponding to the pseudo button area 107. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
