<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the amount of toner supplied from a toner storage chamber to a developing chamber more appropriately. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device 124 comprises: a developing housing 20 that includes a partition wall 28 in which openings 28a are formed, and a developing chamber 22 and a toner storage chamber 24 arranged adjacently across the partition wall 28; a developing roller 30 disposed in the developing chamber 22; a pair of agitation rollers 34a and 34b disposed in the toner storage chamber 24; a valve member 36 that is formed into an elastically deformable sheet and fixed on a wall surface of the partition wall 28 on a side of the developing chamber 22; and a magnet member 29 that is disposed at prescribed position in a valve member 36 contacting area of the wall surface of the partition wall 28, and has a pole opposite to the magnet pole of a built-in magnet of the developing roller 30 facing the area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
