METHOD OF CORRECTING DISTORTION IN VIDEO, DEVICE OF CORRECTING DISTORTION IN VIDEO, SIMULATED VISUAL FIELD DISPLAY DEVICE AND SIMULATOR FOR OPERATION TRAINING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of correcting distortion in video which is generated due to displacement of a position of eyes of an observer who watches the video projected on a screen and recognized by the observer.

SOLUTION: A method of correcting distortion in video which is generated due to displacement of a position P of eyes of an observer who watches the video projected on a screen 21 and recognized by the observer acquires a displacement amount of the position P of the eyes, changes a mapping function for performing coordinate conversion from a first coordinate system S1 with a projection center of a projector 22 which projects the video on the screen 21 as an original point O1 to a second coordinate system S2 with the position P of the eyes as an original point on the basis of the displacement amount and corrects the distortion in the video which is generated due to the displacement of the position P of the eyes with respect to the original video projected on the screen 21 and recognized by the observer by using the changed mapping function.
