<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system, configured so that a toy body to be used for a game is difficult to forge. <P>SOLUTION: The game system performs the game using a true toy body having, as an authenticity identification mark, a display in which mutually different a first image portion and second image portion are visible when viewed from two directions with a predetermined parallactic angle. The game system includes an imaging means having two imaging units for simultaneously imaging a portion corresponding to the authenticity identification mark of a toy body from two directions with a predetermined parallactic angle such that the first image portion and second image portion are visible; and a toy body identification means which identifies the authenticity of the toy body from whether or not two images simultaneously taken by the two imaging units are coincident with the first image portion and second image portion.
