<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleep evaluation device for detecting OSAS (Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome) simply and accurately by alleviating a burden to a test subject. <P>SOLUTION: The sleep evaluation device includes a sensor 30 including a body motion sensor 31 for detecting a body motion of the test subject and a microphone 32 for detecting a sound, and a controller 40 including a CPU 41 for computing to detect from the sensor signal an OSAS cycle which is a specific sleep pattern of OSAS defined by a temporal relation between a time series variation of a human body motion during sleep and a time series variation of the sound uttered by the human during sleep, and the CPU 41 detects the time series variation of the test subject during sleep based on the sensor signal of the body motion sensor 31, detects the sound corresponding to an OSAS snore from the sound signal, and detects the OSAS cycle based on the temporal relations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
