SYNCHRONOUS DIGITAL HIERARCHY NETWORK, DEVICE, TOPOLOGY CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a highly accurate network topology regardless of presence of an SDH device not having an address or regardless of a scale of an SDH network.

SOLUTION: An SDH device comprises: a first transmission part for transmitting identification information of the own device and transmission port information of the identification information to an adjacent SDH device on the basis of an instruction from an NMS; and a second transmission part for, when the identification information of the other SDH device and the transmission port information are received from the other SDH device, transmitting connection relation information including the identification information of the other SDH device and the transmission/reception port information of the identification information of the other SDH device together with the identification information of the own device to the NMS. The NMS comprises: a command control part for instructing a first SDH device selected from the plurality of SDH devices to transmit the identification information of the own device and the port information to the adjacent SDH device; and a network topology construction part for constructing network topology on the basis of the connection relation information.
