<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a preignition phenomenon, which occurs when a vehicle starts moving from an idling state, with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An intake device includes: a throttle body 6; and an intake amount is adjusted by the rotation of a throttle shaft 7 disposed in the throttle body 6. A throttle arm 10 is fixed to the throttle shaft 7; and a throttle cable 12 is wound on the throttle arm 10. When an accelerator pedal is depressed, the throttle cable 12 is pulled to rotate the throttle arm 10. A thermosensitive material 24 formed of a thermally expandable material is interposed between the throttle arm 10 and the throttle cable 12. When the temperature of an engine elevates to a degree to induce a preignition phenomenon, the thermosensitive material 24 expands to apply tension on the throttle cable 12, which increases an idling speed to such a level that does not induce a preignition phenomenon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
