PURPOSE: An independent streetlight operation control system and a method thereof are provided to improve power consumption efficiency by intellectually/independently controlling streetlight operation. CONSTITUTION: An independent streetlight operation control system includes a streetlight apparatus(100) and a detection target(10) transferred in a particular direction. The streetlight apparatus has a lighting function. The streetlight apparatus controls the lighting function by determining movements of the detection target according to a detection result of the movements of the detection target. The streetlight apparatus provides lighting control information based on the detection result to other lighting apparatus(100'). The detection target is corresponded to an object which is recognized and detected by the independent streetlight operation control system. |
