The device (1) has a pad (9) clamped in a guide rail (13), contacting slide surfaces (15, 17) of the rail and sliding on the rail. The slide surfaces of the rail comprise a wiping unit (21). The wiping unit slides on the pad for cleaning the pad. The slide surfaces of the rail are hollowed to form a housing (23). The wiping unit is fixed in the housing by bonding, where thickness of the wiping unit is greater than or equal to depth of the housing. The pad slides in the rail from a first position, in which a fabric is folded up to a second position, in which the fabric is deployed. The wiping unit is one of felt, baize or brush.
